Golden Triangle Spa Indulgence in Thailand 4days/268$US

DAY1: CHIANG RAI (Dinner)

Arrive at Chiang Rai Airport / Railway station. Meet and greet by guide. Transfer to hotel for check in. Leisure time.Dinner and overnight stay at Chiang Rai.

DAY2: GOLDEN TRIANGLE & HILL TRIBES (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Breakfast at hotel.

We visit the hilltribes of Akha and Yao today,Akha village at Mae Chan District. The Akha people are rightly famous for their very exotic and beautiful costumes, and can be seen in many towns in Thailand selling their unique handicrafts. Akha people are usually of small stature, with dark skin and fine, delicate features. The Yao hail from southern China, and at one time had considerable prestige within the Chinese Empire. Their villages are widely scattered throughout the northeastern part of northern Thailand, with concentrations around Nan, Phayao, and Chiang Rai. The costume of the women is very distinctive, with a long black jacket with lapels of bright scarlet wool, not unlike a Hawaiian lei. Heavily embroidered loose trousers in intricate designs are worn, and a similarly embroidered black turban.

We have lunch at a local restaurant before moving on. We visit the Mae Sai – Thakilek Market (Thai & Myanmar Border) and also stop at the ancient city of Chiang Sean, on the banks of the Mekong River. The ruins of the earthen city walls and temples that scattered throughout the town are existing proofs of the Chiang Saen kingdom.

Back to hotel. Dinner and overnight at Chiang Rai.

DAY3: KOK RIVER & RELAXING SPA (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Breakfast at hotel. Free leisure time in the morning. After lunch we enjoy an invigorating boat tour along the Kok River. Mae Khok River is the river that runs through the city of Chiangrai. It is 130 km. long. Tourists can charters long tail boats from the river pier to enjoy both sights along the river. There are many tourists stops along the river trip such as Union Hill Tribes village,. Enjoy an Elephant ride .

Later we enjoy a relaxing Spa at the renowned Legend Boutique Resort & Spa.

Dinner and overnight at Chiang Rai.

DAY4: CHIANG RAI (Breakfast)

Breakfast at hotel and transfer out to airport for onward flight home/next destination.
