Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) arrival (D)

Welcome to Vietnam!

Our tour guide will welcome you at the airport and transfer to hotel for relaxing. Dinner at hotel and overnight.

Day 2: HCMC city (B/L/D)

After breakfast at hotel, full day visit HCMC – Visit the first stage of the Reunification Palace, the seat of government during the regime of South Vietnam, where we visit the underground command center of the army, was exactly in that condition was abandoned at the time of entry into a city of northern troops. So the Catholic cathedral of Notre-Dame, the Post Office (designed and built by Gustave Eiffel between 1886 and 1891), and the small but well-preserved temple dell’Imperatore Jade: very venerable and authentic, it is extremely interesting for the coexistence of Buddhism and Taoism, with pavilions, statues and votive tablets dedicated to both cults. Along the way visitors can admire the Palazzo del Municipio, the Municipal Theater, and Dong Khoi street, Rue Catinat former, tree-lined street in the French center of nightlife in the colonial era, now houses the most elegant shops of the citythe country’s commercial center and home to a growing number of upscale restaurants and shops. And visit Ben Thanh market for shopping. Visit Chinatown, Binh Tay Market, the Thien Hau Pagoda, Opera House and Hotel de Ville, the movingl War Remnants Museum. Back to your hotel about 5pm, relax then transfer to have dinner. Overnight in Saigon.

Day 3: HCMC – Vinh Long – HCMC (B/L/D)

The mighty Mekong flows into the South of Vietnam with its 9 tributaries before unloading a huge water capacity to the Pacific Ocean. It enriches the land of the South, making Vietnam the 2nd World Rice Exporter. It also makes the traffic complicated with a system of ferryboats, rowing boats, motor boats, floating markets, floating villages. It’s also featured by numerous fish farms, where the fish are fed in big ponds or huge underwater cages and under floating houses of the farmers. It’s also the cradle of the delicious Basa – a kind of catfish that Vietnam has exported into USA and Europe. 

You will drive Southward from Saigon, passing by the newly-built My Thuan Bridge, a pride of the Mekong people since it ease their traffic thru Mekong tributaries. Reach Cai Be exciting floating market with local people being occupied in selling, purchasing, exchanging goods from their

boats. Take a walk thru the orchards and visit the rice-paper making and rice crips family factories of the Mekong people. Lunch in an orchard, Afternoon visit another noisy market in Vinh Long. Drive back Ho Chi Minh city for dinner and overnight. 

Day 4: Visit Cu Chi – Mui Ne (B/L/D)

In the morning half day private excursion to the Cu Chi Tunnels, at its height the tunnel system stretched over 250km. from Saigon to the Cambodian border and was three levels deep. The network included innumerable trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers and kitchens. Today the remaining tunnels have become a major tourist attraction giving the visitor a unique experience and a feel of what underground life during the U.S.-Vietnam War must have been like. Afternoon, drive straight to Mui Ne (4hrs), free at your leisure until dinner and Overnight in Mui Ne.

Day 8: Mui Ne – Ho Chi Minh airport for your flight back (B)

A car will transfer you to Tan Son Nhat airport for your flight (4hours from Mui Ne to HCMC)
