Day 1: Ho Chi Minh arrival
Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat airport, our guide welcomes you at the airport and transfer to hotel. Stay overnight in hotel 3*
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City tour (B)
After breakfast at hotel, transfer for city tour: You will visit the Central post office and the Cathedral Notre Dame de Saigon, Reunification Palace, Lon Market, China town and Thien Hau pagoda, If have more time, visit Ben Thanh market. Lunch & dinner by your own account. Overnight in hotel 3*
Day 3: Ho Chi Minh – Mekong (B/L)
Meeting with guide at around 8:00 AM and transfer to My Tho. On the way we see the new bridge My Thuan Bridge – the pride of the inhabitants of Saigon. Upon arrival, travel to a small creek to the island Con Phung (Phoenix Islands) and stop at a restaurant in the orchard at the Vietnamese lunch. Continue cruise through the quiet village of streams in the bin Che. Visit the gardens, try natural honey and honey wine, enjoy tropical fruit, traditional music, explore the local coconut candy production process. On the way back to Ho Chi Minh City to stay in the garden in My Tho bonsai. Arrival at the hotel 5:00 PM. Overnight in Saigon. O/N in hotel 3*
Day 4: Ho Chi Minh – Cu Chi – flight to Hue by VN at 15h10 – 16h20 (B/D)
We will visit Cu Chi Tunnels, one of the few remaining monuments to the fierce Vietnam War . We can even crawl a part of the tunnel to experience the real life of the Vietnamese guerrillas, who used to use and live inside this system during the wartime. Return to Ho Chi Minh airport to take flight to Hue – Being recognized by UNESCO as the 1st Cultural World Heritage for Vietnam, Hue is highlighted by the old royal architectural works and the most traditional Vietnamese lifestyle. Our guide will welcome you at the airport and transfer to the center. Late afternoon, cruise the beautiful perfume river by dragon boat viewing daily life along the way. Visit some villages and do not miss viewing sunset on the river. Dinner in local restaurant. Stay overnight in Hue Hotel 3*
Day 5: Hue full day (B)
After breakfast, we will discover the charm of the city from the Royal Citadel, Forbidden City, Hue Royal Museum and Dong Ba bustling market. After lunch by your own account, continue to visit Thien Mu pagoda and visit the Tombs of King Minh Mang and Tu Duc – two best-reserved monuments of the Nguyen Emperors since early 19th and early 20th centuries. If have more time visit Hat and incenses stick making village: learning the traditional job of people here and you can buy some for souvenirs. Stay overnight in Hue Hotel 3*
Day 6: Hue – Hoian (B)
After breakfast and check-out hotel, we will depart from Hue, passing Danang with stops to sightsee the Marble Mountain, enjoy the landscape of Hai Van (the “Ocean Cloudy Mountain Pass”) and Lang Co Beach before reaching Hoian after midday. This afternoon is for Hoian ancient town – when walking over the tile-roofed Japanese Bridge, visit taciturn Chinese Assembly Halls and Trading Houses, Pagodas, and stroll around the market located by Thu Bon river, you may find out the same feelings of the artists, who see the charm of Hoi An a magical old world of Oriental feel and source of inspiration. Day 7: Hoian city tour (B)
From the 16th to 18th centuries, Hoi An was a thriving international commercial port for Chinese, Dutch, French, Japanese, Portuguese and Arab merchants. These people came primarily to trade in the high grade silk, which is still produced in the area, as well as ceramics. Today, Hoi An is a quaint riverside town, popular with tourists for its eclectic architecture, tailors shops, and numerous cafes. Some of the buildings in the narrow streets have remained unchanged for more than a century.
We enjoy a day walking tour through the narrow winding streets of the Ancient Quarter visiting Chua Ong Pagoda, Chinese Assembly Halls, the 200- year old Tam Ky ancestral house and the Japanese Bridge. After lunch we take a short boat ride to a nearby island to visit a handicraft village specializing in ceramics and also the boat building yards. Hoi An is now one of four World Heritage listed sites in Vietnam. Stay overnight Hotel 3*
Day 8: Hoian- Danang – Hanoi (B)
After breakfast at hotel free at your leisure until transfers to Danang airport to take flight to Hanoi at 13:30 arrive at around 14:40. Our guide in Hanoi picks you up and transfers to the centre. it takes us 35 minutes driving to the centre of Hanoi to check-in hotel. Late afternoon we will enjoy a unique fascinating show of Water Puppetry, a traditional stage art of Northern Vietnam. Overnight in Hano Stay overnight at hotel 3*
Day 9: Hanoi city (B)
After breakfast, our guide meets and transfers to visit Hochiminh mausoleum and his Former residence (close on Monday, Friday), then visit One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature – the first national university of Vietnam built in 1070, West lake and Tran Quoc Pagoda. Afternoon: continue with Hoan Kiem lake and Ngoc Son temple, Historical museum-one of the finest museums in the whole countries. End the trip with shopping in the Old Quarter area. Stay overnight in Hanoi.
Day 10: Hanoi – Halong overnight on board (B/L/D)
After breakfast at hotel, leave Hanoi for Halong bay, The World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, embark a junk cruising around Halong Bay. Enjoy seafood lunch on boat, then have a short excursion to Surprise Caves and swim, kayak if weather permitted. In the evening, enjoy the night fishing (if weather permitted), have seafood dinner on boat. Overnight on board, Bai Tho Junk
Day 11: Halong – Hanoi (B/L)
In the morning, cruise more around Halong Bay and back to the Halong pier. Have lunch before driving back to Hanoi airport for your flight back Ho Chi Minh. Stay overnight in Ho Chi Minh/ or Hanoi depending on your flight home.
Day 12: Hanoi – Departure (B)
Free at your leisure until transfer to Noi Bai airport for your onward flight
