ITINERARY IN DETAIL :
Day 1: Hanoi arrival (/)
Upon your arrival at Hanoi airport, the tour guide and driver will greet you and escort you to your hotel, help with your check-in. The rest of day is for your relax. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi Sightseeing (B)
After breakfast, visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (Closed on Monday and Friday, October and November), throughout the complex such as Presidential Palace, and his residential place. Next stop is the nearby Temple of Literature. Here you will have a chance to see a traditional music performance.
Later this afternoon, transfer to the town taking a cyclo trip around Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi's fascinating Old Quarter for great fun. Then attend a Water Puppet Show, back to your hotel, free at leisure and overnight in the hotel of Hanoi.
Day 3: Hanoi - Halong Bay (B/L/D)
The next one day and a half will be a rich Halong Bay cruise. It starts with a 3-hour scenic drive from Hanoi to the World Heritage site of Ha Long Bay, where you can see nearly 2,000 limestone islands dot the sea and traditional sampans and junks sail the glinting water, grottos, thick forests, and hidden coves, it will be a real ocean adventure! A variety of optional activities like kayaking, swimming, diving will definitely add more fun to this trip. Lunch and dinner on board. Overnight onboard
Day 4: Halong Bay - Hanoi - Da Nang - Hoi An (B/L)
Today continue your unforgettable Halong Bay cruise until a big brunch is finished and then disembark the cruiser at around 10 am. Our guide and driver will meet you at the pier then drive back to Hanoi for your flight to Da Nang. Upon your arrival at Da Nang airport, the tour guide and driver will greet you and escort you to Hoi An (about half an hour drive), help with your check-in in hotel. The rest of day is for your relax. Overnight Hoian.
Day 5: Hoi An City Exploration (B)
After breakfast at hotel, take an excursion to the tiny town of Hoi An and visit 400-year-old Japanese Bridge, 300-year-old Chinese Temple, 200-year-old Vietnamese Former Merchants' House. In the afternoon you will be taken on a boat ride on the Hoai River to Thanh Ha Pottery Village. At every turn you will see local people working at their craft that has been handed down through generations. Overnight in Hoian.
Day 6: Hoi An - Da Nang – Hue (B)
Today you will be driven to Hue. On the way view the coast and Da Nang from the top of the Hai Van Pass. Continue to visit Non Nuoc Beach, Cham Museum and the famous Marble Mountain, which stands for the five essential elements that establish nature.
Have lunch at local restaurant in Da Nang city by your own account. You will arrive in Hue in the afternoon, check in upon arrival and have some free time on your own. Overnight in Hue.
Day 7: Hue Sightseeing (B)
After breakfast at hotel, visit the Majestic Tomb of King Ming Mang, then sail on the Perfume River by royal dragon boat to serene Thien Mu Pagoda, transfer to visit cobbled paths through the grounds of the Imperial Citadel and tour the Forbidden Purple City. Absorb the energy, sounds and smells of bustling Dong Ba Market.
Day 8: Hue - Ho Chi Minh City (B)
After breakfast, your guide will meet you and escort you to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. On arrival, drive to Ho Chi Minh City for a half day city tour, walk around the city from the famous Ben Thanh Market and along the Saigon River past the Opera House, Town Hall & Notre Dame Cathedral.
And then visit Reunification Palace (museum), and War Museum which all within walking distance and absolutely nice choices for a free stroll. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.
Day 9: Ho Chi Minh – Tay Ninh – Cu Chi (B)
Start the tour with the ornate temple of Cao Dai which is a combination of Buddhism, Christianity, Taoism and Confucianism. Then, attend the fantastic mid-day service together with the followers. After lunch, drive back and stop to visit Cu Chi Tunnel system, the incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.
Day 10: Ho Chi Minh - My Tho - Can Tho (B)
Check out after breakfast, and head for My Tho, one of the quiet cities in Mekong Delta area. Take a boat trip on Tien River, visit My Tho fish market and four islands. Then continue to across Mekong River to Tan Thach to visit the coconut candy and rice paper factory. And then, ride a cart along one of the most beautiful villages to Mr. Muoi Hai’s House to enjoy honey tea.
After lunch, take a private vehicle to Can Tho, stop for visiting the ancient pagoda of Vinh Trang - one of the most ancient pagodas in the Mekong Delta. Afternoon, arrive in Can Tho, then check-in and enjoy some leisure time on your own.
Day 11: Can Tho - Ho Chi Minh City - Siem Reap (B)
Breakfast at hotel and start your trip with a boat cruise along the endless waterway of mighty Mekong River to Cai Rang Floating Markets. Then drive back to Ho Chi Minh and head to the airport for flight ongoing to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, check in and free at leisure in the evening. Overnight in Siemreap.
Day 12: Siem Reap Sightseeing (B)
Breakfast at the hotel, transfer to south gate of Angkor Thom, visit Bayon Temple and Elephant Terrace. Have lunch at local restaurant.
Afternoon visit Angkor Wat Temple, the heritage of the world, then continue to Bakheng Temple by elephant-ride, at this time enjoy sunset view of the distant Angkor Wat in the jungle.
In the evening, enjoy the Apsara Dinner Show at Angkor village Resort.
Overnight: Siem Reap
Day 13: Siem Reap Sightseeing (B)
If you want, you can take the early morning trip to enjoy stunning sunrise of Angkor Wat, you also have the chance for a friendly talk with the monks and nuns at a nearby pagoda. Breakfast either at hotel or take away is available.
Start the day by visiting some local villages on the way to Banteay Srei Temples. Have lunch at a local restaurant for exotic cuisine. Ta Prohm temple and Takeo Temple are your next stops before some leisure time in the late afternoon. Overnight Siem Reap
Day 14: Siem Reap Departure (B)
You will have free time till our guide meet you and escort you to the airport for your flight back home.
